Learning Objectives

The program corresponds to the “Elementarnyj uroven'” language level (A1 according to the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages”). The course is aimed at the achievement of language level A1 considering the 4 skills of language proficiency in the CEFR (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written production, oral production).

Program

Grammar

- The Cyrillic alphabet;

- The adjectives and demonstrative pronouns. The demonstrative pronoun “это”. The simple sentence with the demonstrative pronoun: affirmation and negation;

- The interrogative pronouns “кто” and “что”;

- The personal pronouns. The form of politeness;

- The nouns: masculine, feminine and neuter gender in the singular and plural;

- The possessive adjectives in the singular and plural and the interrogative pronouns “чей/чья/чьё/чьи”;

- Qualifying adjectives: masculine, feminine and neuter gender in the singular and plural;

- The formation of adverbs;

- Verbs in the present tense: the I conjugation, the II conjugation and the phenomenon of consonantal alternation;

- Cardinal numerals;

- The strong declension of nouns;

- The weak declension of nouns;

- The prepositional case (the endings of nouns in the singular) and their functions (state complement in place and subject complement);

- Transitive verbs (“учить”, “занимать” ) and reflexive verbs: (“учиться”, “заниматься”);

- The accusative case (the endings of nouns in the singular) and their functions: object complement and complement of motion to place;

- The verb “to be” in the present (“there is” and “there are”), past and future tense;

- The construct of possession;

- The compound future of imperfective verbs;

- Verbal aspect. Perfective and imperfective verbs: the formation of aspectual pairs;

- Imperfective verbs: simultaneity of two or more actions;

- Perfective verbs: sequence of two or more actions;

- The simple future of perfective verbs; 

- The motion verbs “идти-ходить” and “ехать-ездить” in the present and past tense: the difference between unidirectional and multidirectional verbs;

·  Il caso genitivo (le desinenze dei sostantivi al singolare) e le relative funzioni: complemento di specificazione, complemento di appartenenza, il costrutto del possesso nelle frasi negative, l’uso dei numerali cardinali, complemento di moto da luogo);

·  Verbi di moto con prefisso: “по/при/в(во)/вы”;

·  Il caso dativo senza le preposizioni (le desinenze dei sostantivi al singolare) e le relative funzioni: (complemento di termine, l’età, frasi impersonali per esprimere le sensazioni corporee e gli stati d’animo). Il caso dativo con le preposizioni (“к”)

·  Il caso strumentale (le desinenze dei sostantivi al singolare) e le relative funzioni: complemento di compagnia e di unione, complemento di mezzo, il nome del predicato nominale al passato e al futuro, complemento predicativo del soggetto);

·  I verbi “хотеть”, “мочь” e l’aggettivo predicativo “должен/должна/должны”; il verbo “хотеть” + l’infinito;

·  La frase impersonale con il soggetto logico al dativo + “нужно / надо” + l’infinito.

·  Gli avverbi “жарко”, ”холодно”, ”тепло”, ”плохо”, ”хорошо”, ”быстро”, ”медленно”, ”много”, ”мало”, ”нормально” ed altri;

·  L’espressione “мне нравится / мне не нравится”;

·  L’espressione con “можно / нельзя”;

·  I campi semantici: “famiglia”, “casa”, “università”, “amico/amica”, “città”, “tempo libero”;

·  L’uso dei verbi “любить”, ”читать”, ”жить”, ”смотреть”, ”писать”, ”говорить”, ”понимать”, ”изучать”, ”заниматься” ed altri;

·  L’uso di “уже” e “ещё”;

Means of transport: the preposition “на” + the prepositional;

· Some predicative forms “рад/рада/рады”, “занят/занята/заняты”…;

· Some imperative verbs: “дай-дайте”, ”скажи-скажите”, ”покажи-покажите”…;

· The difference between the object complement “русский язык” and the adverbial form “по-русски”: the governing of some verbs,

· The expression of time: “когда?”, “сколько времени?”;

· The months of the year;

· The complement of time (the preposition “в” + the preposition);

· The human body (minimal vocabulary);

· The expression “у меня болит/болят ...”;

· Expressions with “нужно / надо”;

· Verbs that require the prepositional case (“думать”, “мечтать”, “слышать” and others);

· The prepositions “около” + genitive and “рядом с” + instrumental;

· Verbs of position (“стоять”, “лежать”, “висеть”).

Syntax:

Copulative coordinate clauses using conjunctions: и, а, но.

Explicit objective subordinate clauses (“Я знаю, что...”, ”Я думаю, что...”)

Causal subordinate clauses (“… , потому что …”)

Consecutive subordinate clauses (“… , поэтому …”)

Vocabulary and guided conversations on the following topics:

Innovative teaching methods

The in-person teaching method will be enriched with exercises and in-depth analysis, both individual and in groups, that students will carry out using the University Moodle platform. Some topics of the course will be covered, following the following innovative teaching practices:

- Learning by doing (Simulation of scenarios, etc.)
