Learning Objectives
The Program corresponds to the language level "Bazovyj uroven' " (A2 according to the "European Framework of Reference for Languages"). The course is aimed at achieving the A2 language level considering the 4 skills of linguistic competence provided by the CEFR (written comprehension, listening comprehension, written production, oral production) with particular attention to the sectoral vocabulary of TOURISM ADDRESS.
Program
Teaching methods:
Theoretical notions and language exercises
The course includes:
- Frontal lessons
- Group work and writing of written papers
- Individual and/or copy presentations
The following activities will be carried out in the classroom aimed at achieving the A2 language level considering the 4 skills of linguistic competence provided by the CEFR (written comprehension, listening comprehension, written production, oral production):
- Work aimed at acquiring the tourism sector language;
- Listening;
- Guided conversations;
- Viewing of videos and guided conversations.
Teaching Material
The teaching material prepared by the language assistant in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the language assistant specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
Teaching, Attendance, Course Books and Assessment
- Innovative teaching methods
The in-person teaching method will be enriched with exercises and in-depth analysis, both individual and in groups, that students will carry out using the University Moodle platform. Some topics of the course will be covered, following the following innovative teaching practices:
- Debate
- Problem-based learning (learning by solving problems)
- Flipped classroom
- Learning by doing (Simulation of scenarios, etc.)
