The masters degree in Art History aims to combine knowledge of traditional historical and literary subjects with the most advanced methods in painting, sculpture, architecture and applied arts in the medieval, modern and contemporary age. The critical-historiographic preparation and museum training is also essential, with a window open to the world of cultural heritage economics and management. Completion of training includes acquiring the notions to use IT and remote tools, and the ability to fluently use at least one European language apart from Italian in both written and oral form. The historical-artistic combination of subjects, from medieval to contemporary, and also the combination of methodological subjects, are characteristics of the course. Archaeology and architecture have also been included in the course, to offer a more complete and solid training potential. literature and history are characteristics of the course for the same reason, while the possible in-depth study of cultural heritage economics and management was a precise choice made by the School. For the same purpose, there is also a significant choice of show business and communication related subjects included in the additional options in the historical-artistic sense. The approach used with European languages and literature in the additional field are a determining factor.
