Learning Objectives

The three-year degree programme in Information, Media, Advertising is founded on an educational project that integrates ‘knowing’ and ‘know how’, i.e., theoretical, methodological and applied studies that provide the necessary skills and competences for the professional work in the field of communication. The course is tailored to those students who plan for a future in the field of media communication, in particular in information journalism; in performance and entertainment enterprises and in the cultural industry; in advertising communication; in public and corporate communication, nationally and globally; and in the field of digital communication and in professions related to social media.

Information, media and advertisement (L-20 R)

The course forms professional profiles that are adept for the field of media communication, information journalism and advertising communication within cultural organisations, communication agencies and public and private organisations.

Main professional profiles: communication officer, public relations officer, spokesperson and public speaker, copywriter, multimedia expert, media management and planning expert, event organiser and planner, publicist, editor, editorial manager, communication and media researcher, content and community manager for websites and social networks, social media manager.

Students are trained through in-depth theoretical and methodological classes, laboratory activities, seminars, workshops, conferences and supplementary activities that also involve professionals, experts and operatives in the various communication sectors. Students are also encouraged to acquire specific skills through optional curricular training placements with companies and communication agencies, research institutes, private and public administrations, as well as mobility and international exchange programmes recognised by the University, such as the Erasmus+ Studio call and the Erasmus Traineeship call.

In the second year it is possible to specialise in one of the following curricula:

  • Advertising Communication: training in the area of creative advertising, together with skill-provision in the area of culture and communication, with a strong orientation towards the innovations introduced by digital media.
  • Digital Communication: training in the area of digital content production, social media management and analysis, writing and planning on social channels, which can be adapted transversally to different professional areas.
  • Media and Journalism: training in the area of information, performance and entertainment with a strong connection to the developments introduced by digital media in communication processes.

Open access course
Once enrolled, an Initial Preparation Examination (VPI) will be conducted in accordance with the procedures set out in the Course Regulations.

Application procedure
You can apply from the 06/05/2025 to the 13/10/2025 . Using the online procedure you can register to fill in the application and pay with PagoPA (Credit Card, PayPal) to complete the payment of the admission fee.
