Michela Sarlo, nata a Pesaro (PU) il 19/10/1970

Attualmente è Professore Associato in Psicobiologia e Psicologia Fisiologica (M-PSI/02) presso il Dipartimento di Scienze della Comunicazione, Studi Umanistici e Internazionali (DISCUI) dell’Università di Urbino.

Si è laureata in Psicologia Clinica e di Comunità nel 1996 e ha conseguito il Dottorato di Ricerca in Scienze Cognitive nel 2002 presso l’Università di Padova. È stata Ricercatrice a tempo indeterminato e successivamente Professore Associato presso la stessa Università fino al 2019, dove ha svolto il ruolo di Presidente del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Neuroscienze e Riabilitazione Neuropsicologica dal 2015 al 2019.

È abilitata all’esercizio della professione di Psicologo dal 1997 ed è membro di diverse società scientifiche di area psicologica, psicofisiologica e neuroscientifica.

- Basi psicofisiologiche delle emozioni: elaborazione e reattività a stimoli aversivi e appetitivi.

- Basi psicofisiologiche dei processi decisionali: interazione tra processi cognitivi ed emozionali nella decisione morale e durante la simulazione di guida.

- Basi psicofisiologiche del sonno: effetti del sonno REM e NREM sui processi emozionali, sui processi mnestici e sulla presa di decisione.
